OnLive’s new ‘Desktop’ app will turn your iPad into a PC – ‘streaming’ a Windows desktop onto an iPad’s screen, with a full suite of office applications such as Excel and Word.
It’s free and launches on Thursday 12 January.
Other applications have ‘brought Windows to iPad’ before – but only by duplicating a Windows machine’s desktop on to the screen. Onlive is the first where you don’t need to buy a PC!
